“I hope that everyone could see the light-hearted nature of this contest. Being a candidate is hard work and we are always looking at ways to engage voters. Based on the statistics of the blog and even my own candidate website, the contest was successful in drawing attention to the candidates. I wish all of the candidates best wishes in the final days of the campaign and make sure you get out to vote May 2nd!” I’m humbled by the support of those who followed this contest from the start. I want to add that sexiness comes in different forms. Congrats to runner up Scott Milton, for getting engaged in the Green Party, despite his condition. He’s proven that sexiness goes hand in hand with perseverance.”I only hope, in the wake of this contest, that people realize that engagement is sexy too, so please get out and vote on May 2nd, and read the policies of the all the candidates to see who is more than a pretty face!

I just want to take this chance to thank everyone who came by and voted and especially those who will be voting on May 2nd! I also want to thank all the media who covered this little fun initiative! Lastly, I want to thank all of the candidates who got involved by sharing it with supporters and constituents and who understood that this was something designed to be fun! I love the country we live in and am truly blessed to be a Canadian. We should never take for granted where we live because we do have the best country in the world!

To vote you must prove your identity and address… for example;

Option 1: Drivers License.
Option 2: Two pieces of with your name and address. Both must have your name, one an address. (Health Card + Hydro Bill, Credit Card Bill)
Option 3: Take an oath and have an elector who knows you vouch for you.

    How long does it take to process you vote and see the results. I have been waiting for 10 minutes at least.

    Sometimes the system gets caught up and one of two things happens… 1, the vote doesn’t register (refresh the page and vote again and it should the next time) or 2, the vote did register, it just hasn’t been processed yet haha.

    Either way, just refresh the page and try again and it should work. If it’s a double vote, I’ll fix it.

    Appreciate your efforts to put a spicy twist on the election, folks, but though I’m a through-and-through NDP supporter, there’s an obvious, clear choice for sexiest candidate that isn’t even on the radar here, and it’s Ruby Dhalla. No competition whatsoever…

    we need more candidates to vote for as well, including hte party of the candidate will assist the voters instinctual prejudices to be more easily activated and this is good

    Well we had 64 candidates and have since narrowed it down to these 8! Next election though already have something in mind.

    And the parties were removed for this round because we wanted it to be about the candidate and not the party.

    As its probably not known scott has told his supporters not to vote here as he has been “attacked” because of his race and doesn’t support racism or those supporting hate crimes. He has just finished a meeting which included the media, attorney and several other agencies. Something that was so fun has been turned into something so cruel. How Canadian off you. Hope you like the title who ever wins.

    Ha, this is awesome. Many worthy candidates already left behind in this race, but still some sexy and notable examples at the end. Funny one major party seems to have no candidates left running in this race… surely not an omen of things to come Monday? Hope that’s not too negative a remark :)

    Funny that you are monitoring the votes now, but a few rounds ago when you were amazed that the votes for each candidate where 17,000, and you made a poster about the “Match up”. I even emailed you to tell you that there had to be auto voting, and you told me that “people could vote as many times as they wanted”……..this is soooooo rigged
